The space

An apartment located on the first floor of a modern newly-built Japanese house.
The entire building is built using the latest anti-earthquake technologies.

Suitable for a couple or a family. The apartment is 1LK; meaning 1 Living Room, 1 Kitchen (in Japanese Real Estate lingo). There is 1 bedroom; the sofa in the living room can be converted into a bed. The bath and the toilet are separate, as is typical in Japanese apartments.

We really recommend renting a bike for one day to explore Asakusa/Ueno/Akihabara/Yanaka area. We often do it also as a family!

A quiet residential area near Ueno, the beating heart of Tokyo. 30 seconds walk to a public park for your kids, a short walk to Ameyoko shopping lane, a beautiful walk combining new and old Tokyo, surrounded by small temples and businesses.

Getting around

From Narita:
Take the Keisei line (skyliner or express) to Keisei-Ueno station. Then a 5 minute taxi ride to our place (800 Yen, 8 USD or 55RMB)

From Haneda:
Take the Monorail until Hamamatsucho station. Then change to Oedo line (Daimon station) until Shin-Okachimachi station. Then our place is a short 2-minute walk.

From our place:
